For over 20 years, I’ve had the honour of standing beside couples as they say “I do” and families as they say goodbye. I believe in the power of words to comfort, to connect, and to celebrate the human experience – whether it’s the beginning of a beautiful new chapter or the closing of one that meant everything.

I’m not just a celebrant – I’m a writer too. I’ve spent much of my life crafting stories, poetry, scripts, and ceremony scripts that feel deeply personal. My background in writing means I don’t just fill in the blanks – I create something bespoke, thoughtful, and real. Every couple, every family, every individual has a unique story, and I consider it a privilege to help tell it.

What you can expect from me: warmth, professionalism, and just the right amount of humour. I’m calm under pressure, empathetic by nature, and genuinely invested in creating a moment that reflects you – not a one-size-fits-all script.

Based on the Gold Coast, I work alongside my husband Craig – also a celebrant – and together we’re “A Couple of Celebrants.” Whether you’re planning a wedding, a farewell, or something beautifully in between, I’d love to help you mark the moment with meaning.

Hi, I’m Craig – a funeral celebrant with a calm presence, a steady voice, and a deep respect for life’s most significant moments.

For the past eight years, I’ve worked with families to create funeral ceremonies that feel personal, dignified, and honest. My approach is thoughtful and compassionate, always focusing on telling the story of the person being remembered in a way that feels right for those left behind. Whether it's a traditional service or something more relaxed and unconventional, I take great care in ensuring each ceremony reflects the individual and the life they lived.

While I’m not a registered marriage celebrant, I often work alongside my wife Kate to support wedding ceremonies in other meaningful ways – as a co-host, MC, or friendly face helping behind the scenes. Together, we bring warmth and teamwork to everything we do as “A Couple of Celebrants.”

With a background in writing and public speaking, I bring both professionalism and humanity to every farewell. I understand how hard these moments can be, and I’m here to help families navigate them with clarity, kindness, and care
